The basics

What does CHI actually do?

We find out what records your company keeps, put a value on them, and help you sell or license the parts that are safe to sell to AI companies. We also help you put your records to work inside your own business, and set up a pool so your people share in what those records earn.

Who buys this kind of data?

AI companies building models that need to learn how real work is done. Several run published programs for operating companies. We match your records to the buyers that fit and show you their terms side by side.

Why would an AI company want my old job records?

The internet is full of opinions about how to fix a roof and short on records of how roofs actually got fixed: the estimate, the work order, the photos, the follow-up. Established firms have years of exactly that.

Is this legal?

Yes, for records your company owns, with personal details removed. Part of every assessment is a rights check, so nothing goes to a buyer that you don't have the right to license. We're not lawyers, and we encourage you to have your attorney review any license before you sign.

Money

What does it cost?

The first call is free. The written assessment is a flat fee, quoted after the call. If you sell or license, CHI's success fee is only owed after you've been paid, and every fee is disclosed in writing before you sign.

How much could my records be worth?

It depends on how many years you have, how complete they are, and how unusual your work is. Published buyer programs start at $100,000 for a first agreement with a qualifying company. Your assessment gives you an estimate range for your business, never a guarantee.

How fast do buyers pay?

Typically two to eight weeks after signing, once the buyer has reviewed the data. Each buyer sets its own terms, and we show them to you before you sign.

What if no buyer wants my records?

Then you still leave with an inventory of what you have and a plan to use it, such as an AI assistant for your own crew. We'll tell you plainly if selling doesn't make sense.

Privacy and control

Will my customers' information be sold?

No. Names, addresses, phone numbers, emails and anything else that points to a person are removed before anything leaves your company. You review a cleaned sample first.

Will my competitors see my data?

No. Buyers are AI companies building models. Your pricing, bids and customer lists are never part of a sale.

Do I lose my records?

No. You keep your originals. Buyers receive a de-identified copy of only what you approve.

Can I sell to more than one buyer?

Usually, unless you sign an exclusive license. Some buyers ask for exclusivity, sometimes permanently. We flag it in plain words and you decide.

Working with CHI

Do you work outside Florida?

Not yet. We work in person, so we stay in Florida, starting with Manatee and Sarasota County.

How big does my company need to be?

Most buyer programs look for 30 or more staff and a few years of records. Smaller firms can still benefit through Own Your AI.

Do my employees need to agree?

Your company owns its business records, so the decision is yours. Many owners choose to tell their team early, especially when there's a share pool involved.
